The airport representative will be waiting for you at the airport. Then, we will transfer you to the hotel where you can rest and freshen up.

After resting for a bit, you can step down and stroll around the streets. You can visit the nearby local shops near the hotel to try some street foods and buy local handmade products.

After breakfast, our guide will pick you up and take you to the Pashupatinath temple. This place holds great religious significance to Hindu devotees. We worship Lord Shiva here.

The next place will be Bouddhanath; it is one of the oldest Tibetan stupas. You can taste several Tibetan delights like Laughing, Thenduk, Khapse, etc.

After breakfast, we will be taking you to the domestic terminal of Tribhuwan International airport for the flight to Lukla. The jaw-dropping scenic flight to Lukla will cover the views of lush green hills, snow-capped mountains, and greeneries.

After landing at Lukla, we will complete some packing and meet with our Himalayan guide. Then, we will dart to Monjo after resting for some time. The rugged trail takes us through the awe-inspiring views of mountains and rural villages of the region. We will witness the beauty of Mt. Khumbila before reaching Phakding. We will have our lunch on the way and continue trekking till we reach Phakding.

Monjo is a small Sherpa village that lies in the Dudh Koshi river valley in the Khumbu region of Nepal. Phakding in the north and Jorsale in the south, it stays in between. Overnight at Phakding.

Kilometers: Monjo– Namche (8km)

Trek duration: 5-6 hours.

After breakfast, we start trekking to the sherpa capital, i.e., Namche Bazaar. The trail goes up and down with the beautiful dense rhododendron forest. We will cross many bridges and the Dudh Koshi river throughout the day.

We will cross Jorsale village with mesmerizing views of green forests, flowers, and peaks. The mighty Mt. Thamserku is visible from the Benkar village in between. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 05 calls for acclimatization. The trekkers and travelers have to adjust to the changing landscapes and climate; hence we will rest in Namche.

As the experts say, it is better to stay active than to rest idle. We will have short hikes around Namche Bazaar the whole day. After that, we will climb up to the Everest View Hotel to enjoy the panoramic view of the Himalayas.

On the way back to Namche, we will stop by the Khumjung village, explore the monastery and spend some time with Sherpa locals. They are always welcoming to visitors. Their language tone, dress code, and culture are vividly variant than the people from Kathmandu. We will also visit the Hillary school.

The tourist center near the headquarter of Sagarmatha National Park has memories of the mountain climbers, exciting facts about the Sherpa community, and the region.

Namche is famous as the major trade center of the Khumbu region and for Yak butter and cheese.

The trek on this day is relatively easy till we reach Phungi Thenga. After that, due to the rough Himalayan Trail, it may become more complicated than before. After breakfast, we will begin our trip to Phungi Thenga. After that, we’ll make our way to Tengboche by ascending the trail.

We can explore the most famous Buddhist monastery within the Khumbu region. This place holds great religious significance among the Tibetans. The monastery in Tengboche locates within the Sagarmatha National Park with great picturesque Amadoblam, Nuptse, and Everest peaks.

The Buddhist chants in the monastery with the beautiful sunset view will revitalize your soul.

We will walk downhill through the forests of pine, conifers, and rhododendron after our breakfast at Tengboche. Mt. Lhotse, Amadoblam, and Everest will be with us throughout the trek.

We will cross the beautiful Imja river and valley before we get to Pangboche. The splendid view of rural settlements with a cold air breeze feels us with energy every time we get exhausted and want to stop.

The trail continues, and we ascend to Dingboche. The colorful prayer flags and chortens in the area enrich the feel of Himalayan trekking.

The acclimatization day in Dingboche calls for short hikes around the fields of paddy, buckwheat, potatoes, barley, etc. The stone walls protect the crops from animals and the cold Himalayan air.

Dingboche is quite a famous hub for trekkers in the Himalayan region. Makalu, Lhotse, Chalotshe, Tawache, Amadoblam smile with the frosts if the day is clear and not cloudy. We can also climb up to the Nangkar Ishang peak to have the sights of these peaks and the Himalayan surrounding. It is quite thrilling and adventurous.

Overnight in Dingboche.

We will cross The stone-walled fields and Imja Khola Valley before entering the Everest region’s glacier moraine area.

We will continue the trail crossing the intersection of icy streams and spectacular views of Mountain peaks experiencing the Himalayan air. Finally, we reach Chhukung, which is a small Sherpa village.

After resting some time at Chhukung, we will ascend the Chhukung Ri with breathtaking sights like Aamadoblam, Makalu, Island peak, Lhotse, etc. Finally, we will descend with the same views of frosty mountains all around the rocky and slippery trail.

Overnight at Chhukung.

The day trek is the most challenging part of this trek. There are no rest houses, lodges, or eateries in between. You will be amazed to pass the strenuous and highest pass of this trek.

The exhilarating trek starts when we move towards the hill, i.e., northwest of the Chhukung village. After crossing the mountain, the trail goes up to the moraine of Nuptse Glacier. The small frozen lakes add beauty to the moraine.

Continuing the trail, we will see the prayer flags, icy lakes around the Khumbu Glacier. Finally, the moment of truth is here. We then take the absolute path down through the Kongma La pass to reach Lobuche.

We will climb the moraine and take north to reach Lobuche.

The day will be pretty exhausting. But the freedom and immense pleasure of trekking will intoxicate you.

The walk from the Everest Base Camp will be fantastic. The trek begins early in the morning. You will be able to see Khumbu Glacier from the Gorak Shep trail. After that, the path slowly ascends and descends. It even gets rough when we reach Gorak Shep. We’ll rest a little when we get there because walking up and down the big rock is tiring.

Altitude sickness can affect you badly due to thin air, so you need to be wise and stroll. We are going to reach the Khumbu Glacier top on the climb. After a short walk in the Everest Base Camp, we make it to the height of 5364 m. Then, we will enjoy the astonishing view of Khumbu Icefall.

You won’t believe it, but you are at the bottom of the World’s tallest mountain. Mixed emotions at this point are justifiable. The EBC trek is a lifetime experience, after all. You will feel the glory of Mt.Everest and the camp all over. Nuptse, Khumbutse, and Pumori covered in white Snow will display themselves for you.

We’ll be getting down to Gorak Shep after spending some time at EBC. Overnight in Gorak Shep.

We don’t want to miss the spectacular majestic moment of the first sunlight rays striking the silver shining Mt. Everest. Thus, we will have early breakfast and some preparations for the case the climate gets too cold. Then, we will dart to the highest point of this trek, i.e., Kala Patthar.

On reaching Kala Patthar, you will realize WHAT IT IS LIKE TO BE ON TOP OF THE WORLD! We tend to say it often when we are happy. But if ‘BEING ON THE TOP OF THE WORLD’ had any visual illustration, it would look like this.

The stunning views of Lingtren, Changtse, Khumbutse, Everest there will be forever in your memories. Enjoying the picturesque, we’ll get down to Dzongla.

We will descend the hill alongside the Khumbu Glacier, take the right trail, and pass stupas/ tombstones. After certain descending, we begin to ascend, having the views of Chola Tso lake and some other small frosty lakes covered with ice and Snow.

We finally cross the Chola river over the bridge and reach Dzongla. It is a small village with a few teahouses. Overnight.

As we acquire tallness through the trail, the Cho La Lake starts to show up, the Ama Dablam manages the scope of mountains on the south, and Cholatse takes off on the west.

The last climb up to the Cho La can be attractive as the path bends cycle a chasm. The slope is steep yet exacerbated by stones over some of which we should scramble. The only thing is the trek-lover can relate how the challenges boost their energy and strength.

The way to Dragnag is long but not troublesome. We have to pass many Sherpa villages before we get to Gokyo. So, Dragnag is among the Sherpa villages that is home to various nice lodges. Our path carries us to the edge of the Ngozumpa glacial mass, the most extended icy group in Nepal. Through the trail of Yak Kharka, we will climb the famous Cho La pass. Overnight in Dragnag.

We will start climbing a gentle grassy uphill until we reach the snowy glacier. We can see the Gokyo Ri, Renjo La pass a bit far and Ngozumpa glacier. We have to climb a steep snowy trail to enjoy the view of frozen Gokyo lake surrounded by beautiful snowy mountains.

Arriving at the opposite side of the ice sheet, we see the second Gokyo Lake on the arrangement of six lakes. A brief distance away is the third Gokyo Lake Gokyo Village stands there aside. The blue green water looks so beautiful surrounded by mountains. The reward of crossing the rocky and snowy trail across the moraine and hill is the stunning view of Gokyo valley. Overnight.

We observe and appreciate perspectives on the extraordinary mountainous views as we climb to Gokyo Ri.

It is the acclimatization day at Gokyo village, but we will have an excursion to keep ourselves active. We can also visit the fourth Gokyo Lake, situated 3 km north of the Gokyo Village. We will continue the trek to the fifth lake

The view from ‘Scoundrel’s Viewpoint,’ located at the edge of the fifth lake, is a real visual treat for your eyes. Cho-Oyu, Gyachung Kang, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makulu mountains, and the gigantic Ngozumba Glacier are the beauties we can never stop admiring. Finally, we will climb down to the Gokyo village and rest overnight.

We will have a long day today. We will move aside from the Dudh Koshi river and walk around before we descend towards the Renjo La pass. The trek can be a little tricky, and it features the ultimate access of this trek.

The walk can be tiring and exhausting. Never mind. You will be able to see the spectacular vistas of the Himalayan and Rolwaling ranges. Mt. Everest stands still, and beautiful that looks beautiful from the top of the pass.

We continue trekking from the pass down the stone staircase to reach Angladumba Tsho lake. You will have to be safer as the trail is icy. We will cross the path with the view of beautiful lakes there down a narrow valley to Lungden. Overnight.

We will follow the route from Lungden to Thame crossing several small villages. We will cross bridges and the Bhote Koshi river, trekking down the trail to reach Thame.

We will explore the Thame monastery decorated with prayer flags. After that, we’ll cross some beautiful Sherpa villages with astonishing views of the peaks and reach Namche Bazaar.

We will descend all the way to reach there, overnight in Namche.

While getting back to Lukla from Namche Bazaar, we will descend through the green forests of pine, conifers, and rhododendron flowers. The open plains welcome us on the trail. The prayer flags and stones advocate the existence of Buddhism in the region.

We will cross the Dudh Koshi river and several bridges to reach Lukla. After going to Lukla, we’ll realize our dedication, belief, and perseverance made this trek happen. We can rest all the time in Lukla now.

Overnight in Lukla.

The flight from Lukla to Kathmandu will be in the morning time. After that, we will get back to Kathmandu, enjoying the scenic mountainous flight. After that, we will freshen up and rest at the hotel in Kathmandu.

You can have a visit to some local shops and markets to buy souvenirs. The farewell dinner with the Nepali folk musical program on Day 19 will be something to cherish for your whole life.
